Welcome to the Shiloh Trailblazers Pathfinder Club website!
Are you a youth between the ages of 10 and 15 and enjoy Outdoor Activities? Backpacking? Biking? Camping? Drumming? Drilling? More? Then the Shiloh Trailblazer's Pathfinder Club is for you!
The Pathfinder Club is a church-centered program, which provides an outlet for the spirit of adventure and exploration. This includes activities in outdoor living, nature exploration, crafts, hobbies, community service and mission projects. In this setting spiritual emphasis is well received, and the Pathfinder Club has well demonstrated its soul-winning influence. Youth from ages 10 to 15 are eligible to become members of the Pathfinder Club. Youth learn Christian values, explore new hobbies and skills, enjoy safe and exciting adventure, discover what teamwork is all about, cultivate courage, self-reliance, honesty, loyalty and kindness, learn under the guidance of mature Christian counselors, expand their leadership skills develop self-discipline and experience the joy of serving others.
The club is made up of multiple units each containing a small group of boys and girls with a minimum of 1 counselor for each. Each unit member is assigned specific tasks and usually participate with other units in group activities. By working together, Pathfinders develop leadership and teamwork skills. Training is built on a curriculum with six levels of learning. They receive recognition as they complete honors and curriculum levels. Youth that have reached the age of 15 and have passed their previous classes are eligible to become Junior Counselors or staff members.
Other examples of activities in the Pathfinder Club includes camporees, fairs, honors camps, nature exploration, Bible study, witnessing projects, field trips, food collecting, clothing distribution, community clean up and much more.
The Pathfinder Club meets on Sundays from 10:00 AM to 1:00 PM as scheduled.
